Fiber Optic Rail Traffic Sensors

The Fiber Optic Rail Pad Sensors (FORPS) from Sensor Line are at the cutting edge of fibre optic sensor technology for rail traffic. The sensors replace the intermediate layer between sleeper and rail and measure the vertical impact of a train on the rail. They record vibrations and shocks in a wide frequency range and are therefore well suited for the diagnosis of trains and track systems.
