The SL XD-1000 is our newest and intelligent static electronic interface. It operates our rail pad sensors SL-FORPS responding to changes of its optical transmittance. It provides one analogous and one serial output proportional to that response. It samples the signal with 10kHz and has a dynamic range of 33dB. All of our rail traffic sensors (FORPS UIC 60, FORPS UIC 54, FORPS S 49) can be directly connected to the XD-1000.
The SL MD-Transducer is an electronic interface and operates our fiber optic sensors responding to changes of its optical transmittance. It provides two analogous output signals proportional to that response. The unit comprises a LED transmitter, a PIN diode photodetector, and the optical transmission analysis electronic. All of our rail traffic sensors (like FORPS, FORPS-LA) can be directly connected to the Transducer.
